Law Enforcement Night

Over one hundred people attended our annual Law Enforcement Night at the Lodge on June 16th.  It is an opportunity we have to show our appreciation to them and also a time when they can honor a member of their department for that person's contribution.  Six local agencies including Redwood City Police Department, San Mateo County Sheriff's Office, California Highway Patrol, San Carlos and Menlo Park Police Departments along with the District Attorneys Office were represented. Our guest speaker was former County Sheriff Don Horsley.  Our newly elected County District Attorney, Steve Wagtstaffe was also in attendance.

The delicious Tuscan Chicken dinner was prepared by members of our own Butcher Blocks cooking team.  Bob Mezzetta headed up the crew that included Bart Coulter, Bob Roeder, Claude McRosky, Henry Artea, Gary Larsen, Bob Fortney and Fred Faber.

All who attended enjoyed the event and the addition of a raffle to end the evening added to the fun.

Redwood City Police Officer Brad Johnson was given the Exalted Rulers Award for his dedication, service and compassion in the way he solved one citizen's hardships.

Next year we will invite our local fire service agencies again.  Please join us next June for this fun evening.
